Yes, folks, the Prime Minister has uttered the phrase “turn round and say” in today’s monthly press conference. In this blogger’s humble opinion, we are mere days away from the Death of Spoken English, where the leader of the country prefaces every answer with “yeah, no…”.

This is the sort of English up with which I will not put. Prime Ministers should speak like Disraeli until the end of time. End of.
